Vandalism at HDB Block through comprised Rooftop Access - can be prevented using Fingerprint Technology

Once again, the HDB Rooftop has been comprised with unauthorised access that resulted in Graffti being painted on the covering walls of the watertanks. This time it happened at Toa Payoh Block 85.

This incident again proved that the use of high cost secure locks securing the rooftop access is unsecure and ineffective.

We have demostrated a fingerprint system that limit the access to the rooftop and pump rooms in HDB blocks where only authorised users with their fingers can open these secure doors, their access are datalogged and in the event the doors are not closed properly an alarm will be sounded with an alert in the town council system.  Please refer to our posts on May 2011 and June 2010.
