Irish Pubs using fingerprint technology

Gaelic Inns managed several Irish Pubs in Singapore including Penny Black and Murphy Pubs and has started to use fingerprint technology for their staff Time Attendance. Project is developed with inhouse IT guy.

This reference is a good example  that shows Futronic Fingerprint scanner can work well in a wet environment whereby the staff are handling drinks and chilled glasses all the time. As compared to an early deployment, Pay-By-Touch from Citibank in Zouk and other outlets, there were teething problems with wet fingers. Of course, in a pub customers fingers will be wet after getting the drinks thus other fingerprint scanners were unable to scan the wet fingers. So much on this Pay-By-Touch, as the parent company in US no longer exist.
